Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between About The Details (ATD) and the Client. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Booking, Pricing & Cancellations

Estimates & Final Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on standard conditions. Final pricing may increase depending on the vehicle’s size, condition, and level of contamination upon inspection.

Deposits & Payments
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

Service Upgrades
Additional services may be added during the appointment, subject to availability and time.

Cancellations & No-Shows

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit

2. Client Responsibilities

Personal Belongings
Clients must remove all personal items prior to service. ATD is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced items left in the vehicle.

Vehicle Access
Vehicles must be accessible at the scheduled time. Delays may result in reduced service time or rescheduling.

Child Safety Seats
We do not remove or reinstall child safety seats. Cleaning will be limited to accessible areas unless seats are removed beforehand.

3. Vehicle Condition & Limitations

Pre-Existing Damage
ATD is not responsible for damage due to pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Worn or failing paint

Loose or brittle trim

Stains, burns, or permanent interior damage

Heavily Soiled Vehicles
Vehicles requiring excessive cleaning (pet hair, mold, bodily fluids, etc.) may incur additional charges or require service upgrades.

Engine Bay Cleaning
Engine detailing is performed at the client’s risk. While we take precautions, ATD is not liable for electrical or mechanical issues that may arise.

4. Weather & Working Conditions

For mobile services, clients must provide a safe and suitable working environment.

Covered or shaded areas are strongly recommended

In case of severe weather, appointments may be rescheduled to maintain service quality

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for high-quality results on every vehicle.

Clients are encouraged to inspect the vehicle upon completion

Any concerns must be raised before the technician leaves

Once the service is completed and accepted, additional corrections may require a new appointment

6. Media Release

ATD may take photos or videos for marketing and promotional use.

If you prefer your vehicle not be photographed, please notify us before your appointment.
